(…) Frame by frame, shot after shot Maria Sartova (direction and staging) in the film-like convention assembled a subsequent episodes of musical about the multicultural America. Footlights with the escalator successfully was a ship, attic as well as stadium. Fine details were enough for determining the place, for example: neon signs conjuring the climate of the American streets. (…)

(…) The change of the set pieces was provided, on a regular basis, by silent men in workers’ costumes. Due to that job they have become the connectors between the working class of the beginning of XX and XXI century. With their presence they confirmed the validity of the struggle for rights, then and now” In the background, the projector displayed the picture of the New York street, or other images need at the given time. It was a stroke of genius to present a cabaret setting in courtroom. (…)

(…) Through a series of film projections used in this production, scrolling time and time again, the creators were able to recall the atmosphere which could have been present in the streets of then New York City. (…)

(…) Undoubtedly, the success of this production is a skillful incorporation of such an expanded and vibrant musical energy in the framework of such a small stage space, which has at its disposal GTM, the crowd scenes were performed with a unique taste (splendid scene in the Ford factory, the arrival of immigrants, and the scene in the streets of New York.).
